The Band is one of North America’s musical treasures. On Thanksgiving Day in 1976, The Band was joined onstage by a stellar lineup that included Bob Dylan, Paul Butterfield, Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, Ringo Starr, Ronnie Hawkins, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Wood, Neil Diamond, Bobby Charles, The Staple Singers, and Eric Clapton, and the result, known as The Last Waltz, is widely renown as one of the best rock concerts ever.
